Suranne Jones
Sarah Anne Jones, better popularly known as Suranne Jones, is an actor and producer hailing born in England. She has garnered fame for acting as Ruth Slater in the miniseries "Unforgiven," Detective Rachel Bailey in the police procedural drama 'Scott & Bailey", and the role of GP Gemma Foster in the medical drama 'Doctor Foster'. Jones originates from Chadderton located in Greater Manchester, joined Oldham Theatre Workshop in which she earned the BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. As a part of a stage production called Wait Until Dark, she played Gloria when she was just eight years old. In 1997, she made her debut onscreen in a "Coronation Street' episode. She returned in 2000 on the soap opera to play Karen McDonald. The years that followed her departure from the soap opera, she appeared as a variety of characters on TV shows such as 'Vincent", 'Strictly Confessional" and Harley Street. In the movie industry she's been in movies like 'Love and a Long Shot", 'Broken hearts' as well as 'A Christmas Star'.
